Municipality Anderlecht (Brussels) bought an existing townhouse in a dense historical neigboorhoud.
The program is to create a retail and associative space on the groundfloor and a separated house unit on the upper levels. The groundfloor will be used to present and sell vegetables cultivated in Brussels region.
In the garden, visitors and kids will be able to take care of a small farming plot or enjoying sun with a juice or coffee.
Our project tries to keep as much of the existing qualities and typology on the upper part, while offering new architecture, relations and space organization
inside. A parvis is created to the street and invites the public to get inside (the garden).
